The Las Madrinas Endowment for Autism Research, Interventions and Outcomes has provided critical support for CHLA’s participation in the Autism Speaks Autism Treatment Network (AS/ATN), a consortium of 13 sites across the US and Canada specializing in multidisciplinary care for children with autism. The AS/ATN provides state-of-the-art autism-related information, services and supports from nationally renowned clinicians, researchers, specialists, hospitals and academic institutions for families, medical professionals and researchers across North America. The AS/ATN sites share a common commitment to improving care for those impacted by autism. This work is done through information-sharing tools, best practices and research studies; advancing the understanding and application of new knowledge at the front lines of clinical practice; and, engaging in and supporting research relevant to clinical practice of the most complex medical conditions related to autism.
